Birthday Post #14 ~ Keep Moving Forward

Hiya dudes! How's your week going so far? Anything exciting happening?

I've got a great lesson today, and I hope it's one you've heard before.

Keep Moving Forward.

Three simple words, but incredibly powerful when put into motion. Anyone who's trapped in the past, stuck in a rut, or feel as though all the momentum in their life has run out - this message is definitely for you. It's never too late, to difficult, or negative, to keep moving forward.

Looking behind you will never do any good. Being stuck in the past will keep your life basically in pause mode - nothing will happen, because you'll miss it! If you're too busy looking behind you, how will you see opportunities (or road blocks) in your path?

Another way to see it is like this: life is a vehicle, and you're driving. You can't go anywhere new, if you don't drive. You can keep going in reverse, paying attention to where you've already been, but what's the point? It's past. You have to look ahead of you, to keep going.

If you're in a rut, the same metaphor applies: you can't get out of that rut, unless you move forward. Even to get onto a new path, you have to move forward to get out of the rut you're in.

No matter where you're at in life, you can and should always keep moving forward. This doesn't mean move away from your current life, or constantly change everything, it just means keep going. Don't stop. Life is motion - it's meant to be lived, and that takes movement. Even if you have to turn some things around, it will still be forward motion - progress. Just move.

Lesson #14: Keep Moving Forward.
