Hiya! I'm Rose, the blogger behind Fluttering Rose Petals. FRP was created as a personal blog as an outlet for me and my thoughts and life, and for the purpose of entertainment and connection with other people. The posts here are simply the random thoughts that flutter through my mind, and things I feel are worth sharing or talking about. 

Since this is a personal blog, the views presented are mine, and they tend to change as I grow and as I discuss things with people. I talk about lighter things, but I also enjoy discussing deeper things as well, so there will be a mix. Not everyone will agree with my thoughts, or share my views, and that's okay - this is the space for me to express what I think, and sometimes we all need that outlet.

If I share something someone doesn't agree with or particularly like, I encourage polite discussions and am happy to chat about a lot of things I post here. I want to encourage people to think, along with the silly laughter and entertainment. If there's something you truly dislike, please be mature and leave a polite comment letting me know your thoughts, or simply move on.

While I am a Christian and will post Christian content, I don't hold to a lot of man-made rules and interpretations of scripture. I use words a lot of people in Church society don't like and think are "dirty" and that's okay, we can agree to disagree, but in my space, I will express myself however I see fit, even if that includes using spicer seasoning in my words.

What I can assure is that I won't be posting anything sexual or pornographic. I won't be supporting anything illegal (MJ is legal where I'm at and I support the use of it, so if it's not legal where you are, please be respectful and move on).  I won't be outright rude or mean to anyone with my posts, and ask people who comment here or on social media to do the same.  If someone takes offense to something I post, that is a bummer, but not my intent.

I want to encourage people to think - to break out of their bubbles, and learn to treat others with love and respect.  Here, there will be a healthy variation of sweet and silly, with blunt and honest. I welcome those who enjoy my posts, and if you don't care for my way of doing things, there are lots of other blogs out there for you to check out.
