Hiya dudes! I've got another lesson for you today!
Travel!
This one is probably one of the trickiest lessons I've learned, mainly because it generally requires more than just yourself. You need money, transportation, and for most people, a general idea of where they're going. It can be a bit difficult to get out and about, if you feel stuck.
Still, what I've found over the years, is you can travel anywhere, even in your own backyard. There are always new things to learn and see, and generally, you can always find something awesome.
The whole point of traveling isn't to say you went somewhere, anyway. It's meant to be an adventure - a way to see something new, take you out of your comfort zone, and help you grow. Even exploring your own town or city more can be traveling, especially if you live in a well-populated place.
Who knows, you may just find your new favorite place, some new friends, or something new about yourself, without even leaving your zip code.
No matter where you go, there is always something new to see. Explore the state parks/local monuments, old towns, places you haven't been yet. If you're able to, take trips! Book a plane trip to somewhere you've always wanted to go, and just go! Have fun!
The world is meant to be explored, one way or another. It's our playground, and if you just sit cooped up in the same place all the time, you'll feel like life is dull and small, because that's all you're allowing your life to be.
It doesn't matter if you took a fantastic trip ten years ago - don't ever stop exploring. Visit a new restaurant, or a park you never stop at, or even drive around that neighborhood you've always heard about, but never seen.
Don't get stuck in a rut - get yourself off your own well-trodden path, and see what else is out there. Ruts only happen when you never do or go anywhere else.
